The calculators and articles on this site are general tools and information. They are not financial, tax, accounting, investment or legal advice, and they don’t take your personal circumstances into account. For decisions that matter, check official sources or speak to a qualified professional.
Payment fees
Stripe and PayPal estimates use a simplified model: a percentage of the amount plus a fixed fee, with optional extras you choose. Actual fees depend on your account, payment method, card type, card country, currency conversion, pricing agreements and the provider’s terms at the time of the transaction. Providers may round differently. Always confirm against your provider’s dashboard or statements.
GST and tax
The GST calculator performs arithmetic using the rate you enter, with New Zealand’s 15% standard rate as the default. It doesn’t determine whether GST applies to a supply or whether you must register. Check Inland Revenue’s GST guidance or a tax adviser.
Profit and pricing
Profit, margin and markup results reflect only the cost and price you enter. They don’t include overheads, taxes or other costs unless you add them.
AI API costs
AI cost estimates multiply token counts by base per-million-token prices. Actual bills can differ because of prompt caching, batch discounts, reasoning tokens, image or audio tokens, tool use, long-context pricing, regional multipliers, minimum charges, taxes and price changes.

Presets are copied from providers’ public pages and show the date we last checked them. We work to keep them current but can’t guarantee it. If you find an error, please tell us.
