- Calculations run entirely in your web browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent to our servers.

Who we are
SmartCalcWorks (“we”, “us”) is an independent website operated from New Zealand. You can contact us at support@smartcalcworks.com. We aim to handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Calculator inputs
The calculators are JavaScript code that runs in your browser. Amounts, rates, token counts and other values you enter are processed on your device to show results and are not transmitted to SmartCalcWorks. Copying results uses your device’s clipboard.
The AI API cost calculator lets you save your own model prices. Those are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device only, so they’re there next time you visit. We can’t see them. You can remove them with the delete buttons or by clearing your browser’s site data.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about requests, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics
We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service on this site.
Advertising
We do not currently display advertising. If we add advertising in future, we will update this policy before it goes live.
If you email us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond and to improve the site, and we don’t sell or share it for marketing.
Links to other websites
Our pages link to official sources such as Stripe, PayPal, Inland Revenue and AI providers. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you. Email us to make a request. If you have a concern, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes
