1. Using the calculators
SmartCalcWorks provides free calculators and explanatory content for general information. You may use them for personal and business purposes. You are responsible for checking that a result is suitable for your situation before relying on it.
2. No advice
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice. Results are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions shown. See the disclaimer for details.
3. Accuracy of third-party information
Fee and price presets are taken from providers’ public pages and dated. Providers can change prices at any time, and your own account may be priced differently. We do not guarantee that any preset is current or applies to you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting;
- scrape or copy substantial parts of the site’s content for republication without permission;
- misrepresent results from this site as official figures from any provider or government agency.
5. Intellectual property
The site design, text and code are owned by SmartCalcWorks unless stated otherwise. You may share links and quote short excerpts with attribution. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only for identification.
6. Availability
We provide the site “as is” and may change, suspend or remove any part of it without notice. We aim for it to be available and correct, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SmartCalcWorks is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its results. Where you use the site for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply, to the extent permitted by section 43 of that Act. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
